Dr. Rachel Kormos grew up on the farm in Port Dover. She received her Bachelor of Medical Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Dr. Kormos completed clinical internships at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Boston Medical Center, Worcester Veterans Hospital, and Lynn Community Health Center in Boston, experiences that offered exposure to detection and management of a wide range of ocular diseases.
In her spare time, Rachel likes to balance out her love of baking by staying active and enjoys hiking, yoga, mountain biking, and traveling. She is always looking for her next great adventure. Rachel combined her passion for optometry and travel by participating as a team member providing eye care in Nicaragua.
As a child Rachel couldn’t wait for her yearly eye exam and chance to learn about her eyes and pick out fancy new glasses. It is her mission to make patients as excited about their next eye exam as she was.
