Dr. Felicia Binotto
Dr. Felicia Binotto grew up in Ancaster, Ontario. Prior to her optometric studies, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science (Biology, Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour) at McMaster University as well as her Master of Management of Innovation at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Binotto graduated with honours in 2024 from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. At convocation, she received the FYidoctors Clinical Leadership Award for demonstrating excellence and leadership while providing patient care during her clerkships. Her clerkships were in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Niagara Falls and at the University of Waterloo Optometry clinic. Dr. Binotto rotated through clinics with various specialties including primary care, ocular disease and dry eye management, binocular vision, low vision, pediatric and special needs, and contact lenses. Dr. Binotto has a special interest in pediatrics and myopia control, completing her advanced placement rotation at the University’s pediatric clinic.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Binotto enjoys swimming (she has been a lifeguard for 12+ years), skiing, cycling, Latin dancing, learning different languages (German, Italian, French and Spanish) and travelling.
